What to Expect

  • Rest

The first step is physiological stabilization. Simply put, this means reducing stimulation and getting you out of stress mode and into healing mode. You’ll sleep in a comfortable bed away from distractions, eat nourishing food, and slow down.

  • Move differently

You will not be sitting in front of a computer while you’re with us. Expect to spend time taking walks, picking flowers in the garden, chopping wood, or helping prep dinner. We’ll help get you out of your head and back into your body.

  • Find community

Once you’ve started to feel a bit more like yourself, you may crave some easy social interaction with other members of your cohort. Expect optional structured and unstructured opportunities to connect with peers and share your experiences.

  • Master a challenge

We have activities designed to help you connect with a feeling of aliveness and adventure. There will be moments in this journey that might feel difficult. But, trust us, the excitement on the other side of that struggle will be well worth it.

  • Learn new strategies

Work with our team of mental health professionals to build new skills for how to avoid burnout in the future. You will have a chance to explore the root of the issue and make a plan for how to reintegrate to work.

  • Reflect

The week will allow plenty of space to integrate what you’re learning about who you are and what you need. We will provide prompts and suggestions for this process and plenty of beautiful spaces to sit and wonder.
